The Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals Chicago/Midwest Chapter is pleased to host the second of a 2-part series focusing on building a career as an alliance professional. Wondering how to take your Alliance Career to the next level? This  informative discussion features 3 alliance professionals who have a variety of alliance experiences amongst them. This session will present perspectives on how corporations view the importance of Alliance certification; real life alliance experiences that  aid in successfully passing the certification exam; and key points of  the exam itself. If you want to differentiate your alliance career now, Alliance Certification quanitifies your experience and can take you to the next level!

Speakers:
 
Liz Malis, Liz is the Business Unit Executive for Software Channel Sales in the Central Region at IBM. She has 14 years of experience in all aspects of alliance and channel management. She has had multiple Alliances Management roles, including 3 years managing Supply Chain Alliances at PwC Consulting, and 5 years as the lead manager coordinating Financial and Supply Chain activity within Software Intelligence at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Liz was also a Research Director at Gartner Group and Benchmarking Partners where she wrote extensively on ERP Implementation Issues, ERP Software vendors and Supply Chain best practices.

Debbie Clasen, CAAM, Debbie is the Sr. Manager of Business Development & Strategic Planning, Mobility Alliances Group, Cisco Systems, Inc.  Her key alliance partners include:  Nokia Siemens Networks, Nokia, Motorola and Alcatel-Lucent. Previous to Cisco, Debbie was responsible for Global Alliances at Flarion Technologies.  Prior to that, she was Director of Strategic Alliances for CommWorks Corporation, a 3Com company, where she led the global carrier alliances initiative and negotiated in excess of $400 million in agreements with global corporations that included Siemens (Germany), Alcatel (France), Hitachi (Japan), and Eastcom (China).  Debbie is currently the President of the Chicago / Midwest Chapter of the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP).

Ann E Trampas, CAAM, Ann is the Certification Program Director for the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals and an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at the Keller Graduate School of Business. Ann is formerly the Vice President of Global Alliances for SPSS, where she developed the strategy and led a team of Alliance Managers responsible for relationships with system integrators, consulting firms and technology partners. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Partner Marketing for Teleglobe, a division of Bell Canada Enterprises.
