Finding the way into an executive’s mind requires careful laser-like focus on key points an executive is always thinking about. Marketshare. ROI. Growth. On-time Delivery. Quality. Winning. Thoughtful preparation and engagement with the executive, making them part of the process, is crucial to building this foundational piece of a company’s alliance strategy. This session – Executive Mindshare - hosted by the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals Chicago/Midwest Chapter - is designed to explore these points in finer detail.

Speakers:

 Joel Gershon, Alliance Manager, Interwoven, Inc.,  Joel has been in the high technology sector in various alliance and channel roles for 15 years. He has worked with both hardware and software manufacturers, as well as consulting and professional service organizations to help build and manage third party revenue streams and ecosystems. Some of the organizations for which he has worked are Macromedia, Novell, and Marchfist/Whittman-Hart. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from DePaul University.

David Hampe,  Senior Executive with Accenture and leader of the alliances program in the Public Services organization at Accenture.  David is the Alliance Service Lead for State and Local, and Canada, and Business Development Lead for the State of Illinois. His Alliance team is involved with all pre / post RFP support of our proposal teams with regard to alliances, pricing and revenue share arrangements for all third party technology.  He has held various positions in alliance work including Global Alliance Director at Compaq and at Unisys where he developed their (Resell) channel programs in Asia Pac and South America.
