ASAP Chapter Meeting Coming to South Central NJ/Eastern PA! New Venue and New Menu!
Due to rising interest in the Princeton-Philadelphia area, the ASAP NY/Tri-state Chapter is holding its next meeting along the Delaware River in the historic town of New Hope PA, accessible to both Philadelphia and southern NJ. We've put together a program of particular interest for Alliance-focused executives, and are being joined by Philadelphia area members of the Harvard Business School Health Care Industry Alumni Association for an event that focuses on alliance decision-making.
Join us on Tuesday evening, May 13th where you will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive simulation exercise. ASAP and Humentum have partnered on the development of the Alliance Management Best Practices Simulettes to address the behavioral issues in alliances beyond basics. In the Simulettes, participants are embedded in realistic alliance management dilemmas and challenges. They experience an application of the Best Practice rather than simply reading it. Participants really consider their actions:
- to exercise judgment: making a decision as to what to do in the simulated situation,
- to experience consequences of their decisions (the best path or other), and
- get feedback as to how and why those consequences happened from multiple angles.
Participants get 'experience' in a condensed timeframe, with full coaching and insight into recommended actions, trade-offs and their consequences. The Simulettes were developed with ASAP BioPharma Council members: Boehringer Ingelheim, Eli Lilly, Novartis, Schering Plough, Merck, Amgen, Endo, Takeda, Lundbeck and Wyeth.
In addition, you will hear from a fellow ASAP member who will share a current alliance challenge and their approach. We will also be recognizing our members who have earned the CA-AM designation from ASAP. Finally, there will be plenty of time to network with your fellow ASAP members and guests—not to be missed!
We'll be including drinks and appetizers to fuel plenty of thinking and discussion! The cost is $20 for ASAP members and $25 for ASAP guests, HBS Health members and HBS Health member guests. Your attendance will not only confirm your interest in ASAP, it will show your support of the meeting venue and menu changes your Executive Team has made.

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday evening May 13th at 5:30PM
