Silicon Valley Elects New Chapter President

June 1, 2007 SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA– The Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP) announced today that it has elected Brian Handley as president of its Silicon Valley/Northern California chapter for a one-year term.

Brian Handley is a Business Development Executive with Emerson Corporation; Liebert Power and Cooling Division. In that role he manages the relationships between Emerson more than sixty of their principal partners, including Dell and Cisco.

In his long career prior to Emerson, Mr. Handley held numerous sales management positions at Compaq, Bell Atlantic and The Fortel Group. In the last ten years, he has held positions as Vice President of Global Alliances at three mid-tier software companies. In those recent postings, he established and managed alliance relationships with IBM, Fujitsu, Siemens, Accenture, Cap Gemini, Cisco and others. In addition, Mr. Handley has managed the development and productivity of channel resellers throughout the US, EMEA, Asia and Latin America.
