Chapter Partner Organizations

The Northern California Chapter of the Association for Strategic Planning(ASP NorCal) exists to provide a professional community advancing the art of strategic thinking, planning and action. Monthly events bring provocative speakers and topics that provide opportunities for attendees to explore cutting-edge strategic planning techniques that drive practical, lasting business advantage. Event attendees represent some of the most influential organizations in the Bay Area, including: Cisco, Walmart.com, Hewlett-Packard, Stanford Research Institute, Saatchi & Saatchi, USF, Palo Alto Medical Foundation, as well as numerous smaller firms, nonprofits, and academia.
Events offer highly interactive 60-minute keynote presentations plus Q&A that often lead into deeper roundtable discussions with the presenter. Presenters tend to be leaders within large organizations or consultants/authors sharing how their approach to strategy resulted in pragmatic benefits to the business. Events are held every month (except during July and August) at a variety of venues in Silicon Valley, as well as selected locations in San Francisco, where content is focused on sustainability as a strategic differentiator.
