ASAP UK purpose
The Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP) is the global professional body for those who carry Relationship Management responsibility for joint sales, marketing and delivery with one or more partner companies. Membership is drawn from Alliance Managers supported by their Corporations in product and service companies, both large and small. ASAP UK is responsible for delivering member value in the UK through its vigorous programme of events, certification and content development
Objectives of ASAP UK:
- To professionalise the role of partnering in the UK
- To develop a common standard throughout the UK for the Alliance Manager job role.
- To develop and maintain a body of Best Practice to help Members maximize their proficiency
- To provide a professional networking facility for members to identify and nurture business opportunities
- To ensure that end user clients see ASAP Membership as an indicator of supplier effectiveness.
ASAP UK helps its members to:
- Exude professionalism and a high level of excellence in their role
- Better articulate their role and value
- Initiate and foster business-to-business relationships with partner companies
- Perform their role more effectively and with greater confidence
