Building Strategic Channel Relationships that increase revenue, profits and value

Channel Relationships have multiple layers. The top layer or basis of the relationship is defined at the ‘company’ level in the way of a contract. The hardest and most important part is the one you play, at the ‘people’ level. To be successful at this role you encounter personality conflicts, people that may not know how to effectively work with partners or that are so focused on their core business that attempts to communicate and work together go ignored.

By developing stronger relationships with your channel partners, you are better able to identify and support your extended team to efficiently and effectively encourage richer engagement with prospects and customers and ultimately ensure continuity of your brand representation. Putting the future in focus, growth of a strategic or global partner requires that you establish common ground and set realistic goals. Use those goals to create a roadmap that increasingly provides value and drives revenue by leveraging data, internal marketing and communications, strategic delivery and facilitation.

In this 60 minute session, participants will learn proven techniques to:

  • Work with different with personality styles
  • Align business goals and objectives (and gain agreement)
  • Identify and incorporate business data with a large group exercise here tying data to behaviors that trigger communication and training from group findings
