Alliance managers work with their partners every day. In the close relationships that develop, it’s tempting to put the goals and needs of the partnership on the same level as your organization’s goals to see your alliance partner as your customer. That’s a mistake. Every alliance exists to advance the goals of the partners in the alliance. That means your real customer isn’t your partner. It’s your sales reps, your marketing department, your engineers. Remembering who your customer really is can make your alliance stronger and more successful.

In this talk you’ll:

  • Hear about common missteps in designing alliance programs
  • Learn how to discover and serve your organization’s needs
  • See how to create a stronger, more effective relationship with your partners

    Speaker:

Steve Fritzinger, Virtualization Alliance Manager, US Public Sector, NetApp

Steve Fritzinger is NetApp's Virtualization Alliance Manager for the US public sector. He works with customers to build private cloud solutions, modernize their data centers and applications, and deliver better value to end users.
