Turnarounds and Terminations – Effectively Assessing and Handling Struggling Alliances
Studies have shown that over 70% of business alliances fail. Our panel of experienced alliance professionals will discuss core competencies and critical success factors associated with turning a failing business partnership into a successful one (turnaround), and “consciously uncoupling” an alliance when it becomes necessary (termination). We will explore related topics such as assessing partnership health, market factors, leadership, communication, contractual implications, and processes that can help to smooth the transformation or shut down.
The panel, comprised of both IT and Biopharma business partnership management experts, will share their professional experiences and lessons learned to highlight the most impactful tools and techniques for rescuing or sunsetting an alliance. We will leave plenty of time for audience questions and sharing of their own relevant excerpts, for a lively and fun discussion about how and when to hold, or to fold, a struggling business partnership.
