Network - Collaborate - Discuss

Dr. Marjorie A. Lyles, Professor of International Strategic Management for Indiana University Kelley School of Business will be joined by David S. Thompson, Chief Alliance Officer at Lilly, in a conversation that will explore the organizational learning process of how companies learn from each other – and how Lilly supports an open source mindset in its efforts to share its resources and tools to educate other practitioners.

Both concepts lend themselves to helping advance the practice of Alliance Management across the industry.

Key topics for discussion include:

  • How alliances grow stronger and more robust when each partner is willing to share with and learn from each other
  • The importance of cultural competency and communication sensitivity in the complex global alliance landscape
  • Examples of two resources developed and used by Lilly – Managing Three Types of Risks and 7 Principles of Effective Communication

ASAP Midwest Chapter and Lilly are excited to host this session of ideas, networking and dialogue.  Please join us and invite your partners along!
