Alliance management is recognized as necessary to making individual alliances and a portfolio of alliances work and is driving growth and innovation in many industries and corporations today.

The role of an Alliance Manager relies on a diverse set of skills that support and drive a successful collaboration, managing the interest of all parties, and at all levels and functions.

Skills and competencies fundamental to alliance management allow for monitoring and maintaining a productive partner-to-partner engagement model. An Alliance Management framework ensures that these alliance management capabilities are in place. This framework can help transform inexperienced alliance managers to well-practiced alliance manager professionals, leading to more career options.

Attendees will:

  • Confirm the leading edge skills and competencies for alliance managers as they move up from “Starter” to “Leader” and across from single alliance to portfolio responsibilities
  • Develop an alliance corporate capability matrix to identify any competency gaps in your alliance team
  • Identify best practices and resources for developing your unique alliance management career path
