What Do I Receive When I Become Certified?
Individuals who successfully pass the certification exam will receive a certificate and pin within 2-3 weeks of passing the exam.
What Happens if My Membership Expires?
Certification is tied to membership status. If your membership expires, your certification is no longer valid. It is recommended that you maintain information on when your ASAP membership and certification expire. ASAP staff is available to help you with this information as well. Please contact Lori Gold, manager of membership services at ASAP, at 781-562-1630 ext. 203 or lgold@strategic-alliances.org to check your member status.
What Happens if I Don’t Pass My Certification Exam?
For both CA-AM and CSAP exams, individuals have three attempts within one calendar year. There is a 30-day waiting period between each attempt.
What Policies Govern the Use of Certification Logos?
The Alliance Management, CA-AM, and CSAP logos are service marks of ASAP. ASAP grants valid certified individuals with permission to use the CA-AM or CSAP logo to promote their certification. If an individual’s membership expires then the license to use these logos is revoked.
What Certification Information is Shared with Others?
ASAP only indicates if an individual is certified. An individual’s score is not public information and will not be shared with anyone. ASAP maintains a list of individuals who are CA-AM- and CSAP-certified. This list will include a person’s name, company, chapter, and country.
How Long is My Certification Good for?
Each certification—CA-AM and CSAP—are good for three years. The date of expiration is the first day of the month after the date of becoming certified plus three years. For instance, if an individual passes his/her CA-AM exam on February 15, 2010, his/her date of expiration is March 1, 2013.
How Do I Find Out My Score?
Individuals receive their score upon completion of their exam. For individuals taking the CA-AM exam, scores will be returned electronically within 1-2 minutes of hitting the submit button. For individuals taking the CSAP exam, a printout with the score will be provided at the completion of the exam.
Can I Find Out What Questions I Got Right or Wrong?
The scoresheet provided will include an overview of how an individual performed within categories. However, to maintain the integrity of the exam, individuals will not be provided with answers to the exams.
