Digital Health and the Patient Journey
DIGITAL-HEALTH_650.jpg
Digital Health (DH) considers all applications along the patient journey including prevention and patient engagement in scope, and also looks at the healthcare related aspects in connected industries' value chains such as drug R&D in pharma, clinical care for providers, and population management for payers. DH has become a major growth sector with annually $10B of investments and market size forecasts of up to $400B over the next years.  In parallel, changes in the healthcare ecosystem put stress on traditional pharma business model – pushing organizations to think and act differently.  Almost all big pharma players are already investing in, partnering with or developing products with health technology companies and pharma companies are finding new ways to build patient-oriented services or gather new insights.  But what does it take to be successful in these partnerships and to ultimately bring products forward?

The Tri-State Chapter will be exploring this with an esteemed group of individuals either working directly in a healthcare technology partnership or in a role that is impacted by digital health.  Each will share their own personal experiences, successes and challenges and will welcome questions from the attendees.  We will also have time before and after the event for networking and further individual discussions.
