Question: What are the types of membership available?
Answer:

We have three levels of membership (Click here for full details):

  • Individual Membership: The person owns the membership and access to benefits. (one year membership)
  • Corporate Membership: The organization owns the membership and may designate up to 20 individuals to receive benefits through their membership roster. (one year membership)
  • Global Membership: The organization owns the membership and may designate up to 100+ individuals to receive benefits through their membership roster. They may allocate up to 25% of available roster seats for alliance partners. (two year membership)

Professional Development

Question: What if I registered for an ASAP Netcast Webinar but couldn't participate?
Answer: Both members and non-members who register for an ASAP Netcast Webinar will receive a follow up email within a few days following the webinar with links to both a recorded presentation and a slide deck. Members may access past ASAP Netcast Webinars through the Member Resource Library.
Question: Where can I see a list of ASAP member organizations?
Answer: ASAP member organizations can be found by hovering over MEMBERSHIP menu on the toolbar, then clicking Corporate Members or Global Members. Individual members may be found in the Member Directory which is restricted to ASAP members only. (See: How do I use the Member Directory?, immediately below)

Question: What training does ASAP offer?
Answer:

Certification: The ASAP alliance management certification program offers members the opportunity to demonstrate their mastery of core alliance skills and the management of all forms of collaborative business relationships. Click here for more info.

The opportunity to both become certified and keep that designation is a benefit of and tied to an active ASAP membership.

ASAP Simulations: Online training using nine real world case studies and simulated training exercises each within a key alliance management competency. You may purchase one module, or the entire suite of nine modules, through the ASAP STORE link on the toolbar.

Members are offered a discounted rated.

Question: Where can I find out more about the ASAP Education Provider Partners Program?
Answer:

Hover over the RESOURCES menu on the toolbar, then use the Education Provider Partner Program links within. Here you will discover more information on some of the profession's best trainers and mentors and their programs in one place for individual alliance managers and their companies to turn to in order to develop the skills that enable strategic alliances to achieve corporate objectives.

Answer: The ASAP Member Resource Library and its contents are restricted to ASAP members only. Click here for details.

Question: If I buy the Handbook do I get the electronic version too?
Answer: No, purchase of the eBook and hard copy versions of The ASAP Handbook of Alliance Management: A Practitioner's Guide are separate.
Question: How do I sign up for the ASAP Blog?
Answer: Click the ASAP Blog button on our home page, or click the ASAP Blog link within the ABOUT menu on the toolbar. The ASAP Blog allows you to stay current regarding upcoming events, member companies, the latest trends, and leaders in the industry. Blogs are posted at least once a week; members may subscribe to receive notifications when new blogs are posted.
