Position Description:

The national strategic alliances director will be responsible for business plans and techniques to deepen strategic relationships and accounts to generate more revenue resources. To achieve this, the director will lead strategy development, relationship building, and project management for the national alliances program.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a strategy for a national alliances program

• Expand growth in key national accounts in alignment with corporate and sales OKRs

• Manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships, representing Foundation Source with excellence in early-stage and ongoing partner relationships

• Maintain partner satisfaction, sustain long-term partnerships, and engender partnership growth

• Manage partnership activities, campaigns, and initiatives, developing budgets, planning and executing in close collaboration with cross-functional internal team members

• Envision and action plans to generate qualified leads from key alliance partners to handoff to sales team

Required Experience:

The successful candidate is savvy and adept at building relationships with key contacts and with centers of influence. They will demonstrate experience in sales, client support, philanthropy, and/or strategic alliances at a national firm. They also will have a track record of account management, solid business writing and presentation skills, excellent verbal communication, experience with pitch formation and delivery, creative and bold thinking, exceptional critical thinking skills, and a passion for philanthropy.

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of corporate partnership experience or a combination of 10 years of experience in relationship management in Sales, Financial Services or Philanthropy

• Proven track record of delivering sales results

• Critical and strategic thinker who can also focus on details • Versed in a consultative sales approach, negotiations, and contracts

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong planning, organization, and time management skills

• Independent and results-driven yet a team contributor
