Alliance Essentials is a practitioner-led, applied learning experience that builds foundational alliance capability and strengthens real-world execution. Participants gain a shared understanding of how alliances create value, align with organizational strategy, and drive measurable business outcomes. 

Blending strategic insight with practical tools, the program equips participants with a 30-day action plan and the essentials needed to contribute with confidence from day one.

From there, learners can continue building depth and sophistication through ASAP’s intermediate and advanced programs, which focus on applied practice, strategic leadership, and complex alliance design and management.

After Alliance Essentials, consider taking:

  • Applied Alliance Management: This course reviews the alliance life cycle framework and applies skills, processes, and practices to ensure effective alliance implementation. This course is a prerequisite for the CA-AM exam.

  • Alliance Strategy & Leadership: Designed for alliance leaders with at least 5 years of experience seeking to optimize their strategic impact across the alliance life cycle and improve their organization’s alliance capability. This course is a prerequisite for the CSAP exam.
