Senior Alliance Manager (M/F)

We have an exciting opportunity available for a well-rounded Senior Alliance Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Alliances you will be responsible for fostering and managing strategic partnerships
between MedinCell and their partners. The role focuses on ensuring both parties are aligned on objectives,
compliance, and deliverables, while acting as the central point of contact to drive collaboration, resolve issues, and maximise the value of joint projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Alliance Structure & Governance
Design, implement, and promote the alliance’s mission and value proposition to internal and external stakeholders. Lead executive mapping, define alliance teams, and establish robust governance models to ensure effective collaboration and decision-making throughout the alliance lifecycle.

Alliance Launch & Life Cycle Management
Oversee the launch of new alliances, ensuring resource commitments and operational principles are clearly
defined. Assess and resolve conflicts, escalate issues through agreed governance processes, and determine when alliances should be transformed or concluded.

Business Development & Contract Management
Develop comprehensive alliance business plans, from initial partner screening and profiling to tracking success metrics and adapting strategies as the alliance matures.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, negotiate key contractual terms, and ensure compliance with all agreements. Support late-stage deal-making and aligning alliance strategy with corporate objectives.

Relationship Management
Build and nurture trust-based relationships at all levels within and across partner organisations.
Foster open communication, mentor stakeholders, and promote effective collaboration, while recognising and
managing cultural differences to ensure smooth cooperation.

Knowledge Management
Define and communicate what information can be shared and what must be protected, establishing clear internal and external communication plans. Disseminate best practices and company-specific learnings, and ensure effective knowledge transfer between organisations on critical topics such as products, patents, and processes.

Risk Management
Proactively identify and assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor how industry changes may impact alliances. Anticipate potential roadblocks and implement solutions to ensure the resilience and success of each partnership.

Requirements

Background

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry), additional MBA being a plus
  • Certification in Alliance and/or Project Management would be a plus
  • At least 7 years+ confirmed Proven experience in alliance management, business development, and
    contract negotiation within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

    requirements, and industry trends.

    teams.
  • Communication & Influence: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to align internal and
    external stakeholders.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identifying potential risks in partnerships and developing
    contingency plans.
  • Problem-Solving & Conflict Resolution: Ability to resolve disputes and maintain positive
    relationships.
  • Languages: Native/near Native English level, French is a plus.
