ASAP Announces 2025 Alliance Excellence Awards Finalists

Eleven world-class collaborations set the global standard for strategic alliance excellence

The Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP) today announced the 11 finalists for the 2025 ASAP Alliance Excellence Awards, the only global awards program dedicated exclusively to advancing the discipline of strategic alliance management.

Representing the highest distinction in the alliance management profession, these awards honor collaborations that deliver measurable impact through disciplined governance, innovation, and execution. This year’s finalists span industries and geographies, demonstrating that world-class alliance management drives growth, resilience, transformation, and societal progress.

Winners will be announced live the afternoon of April 28 at the 2026 ASAP Summit NYC, April 27–29 in Midtown Manhattan, where senior alliance and partnership leaders from around the world will convene to advance strategic impact, elevate long-term value creation, and celebrate the discipline of alliance management at its highest level.

"This year’s finalists show what happens when alliance management is treated as a strategic discipline,” said Ard-Pieter de Man, Chair of the ASAP Awards Committee. “Their collaborations reflect intentional governance, measurable impact, and the ability to translate partnership into sustained value.”

The 2026 finalists are recognized across four distinct award categories, each highlighting a different dimension of alliance excellence:

Corporate Social Responsibility Category

Recognizes partnerships that apply disciplined alliance management to advance meaningful societal outcomes, including sustainability, health, education, and community impact.

Emerging Alliance Category

Celebrates high-potential collaborations that demonstrate exceptional implementation of best practices during strategy development, partner selection, launch, and early execution.

  • C-Further: LifeArc, Cancer Research Horizons, and Great Ormond Street Charity
    Focused on accelerating childhood cancer drug discovery, this purpose-driven collaboration applies structured governance, standardized onboarding, and proactive risk management to generate early momentum and long-term resilience.
  • Novartis–Isomorphic Labs Alliance: Isomorphic Labs and Novartis
    Designed with disciplined governance and intentional ways of working from inception, this collaboration built a foundation of trust and execution strength that enabled significant expansion within its first year.
  • TenneT Valuechain Orchestration: TenneT, Heroes Corp., PLTFRM, Digital Ecosystem Institute (DEI), DataGrow, Puurdata
    Redefining public-sector IT delivery, this governance-led ecosystem replaces traditional outsourcing with coordinated, expert-driven initiatives that enhance mission-critical stability while accelerating innovation.
Enduring Alliance Category

Recognizes mature partnerships that have demonstrated sustained excellence over time, consistently applying alliance management best practices to drive measurable, long-term success.

    Demonstrating disciplined cross-functional alignment and proactive joint leadership, this pharmaceutical collaboration accelerated market access, safeguarded pricing integrity, and maximized long-term alliance value.

Innovative Collaboration Category

Honors alliances that introduce groundbreaking tools, governance models, or strategic approaches that deliver measurable results and advance the practice of alliance management across industries.

  • Asset Close-Out and Transition Team (ACTT): Amgen
    Institutionalizing transition excellence across a global portfolio, this cross-functional framework embeds governance, knowledge transfer, and execution discipline to ensure seamless asset close-outs and strategic handoffs.
  • Partner Financial Health Assessment Process: A Strategic Finance-Alliance Collaboration Model: Jazz Pharmaceuticals
    Embedding structured financial monitoring into alliance management, this integrated finance–alliance framework enables proactive risk detection, stronger governance decisions, and more resilient strategic collaborations.
  • IPCEI Hy2Tech – Wave 2 the Future: Fincantieri
