Maintain and renew your certification
ASAP certifications are renewed every three years. To maintain your CA-AM or CSAP credential, complete 30 professional development hours (PDHs) during each three-year renewal cycle.
Renewal helps ensure that your certification continues to reflect current knowledge and active professional development. PDHs can come from professional development related to alliance management, strategic partnerships, or skills that strengthen your professional practice.
Ways to earn PDHs
Eligible activities include:
- Attending approved courses, workshops, webinars, or conferences
- Volunteering through activities including ASAP Board or committee leadership
- Presenting at an approved conference or program
- Publishing a professional article or paper
- Instructing courses
What is a PDH?
You may see similar continuing-education credits called CEUs, CPEs, Professional Development Hours (PDHs), or Professional Development Points. Whatever the terminology, they represent ongoing professional learning and development.
