ASAP Awards the 2025 ASAP Alliance Excellence Award for Enduring Alliance to MSD Turkiye and Bilim Pharmaceuticals, presented at 2026 ASAP Summit NYC
The recognition honors more than 14 years of structured contract manufacturing collaboration supporting MSD Turkiye’s diabetes portfolio.
The Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP), a global alliance-management professional association, announced the 2025 ASAP Alliance Excellence Award for an Enduring Alliance awarding it to MSD Turkiye and Bilim Pharmaceuticals. Presented on April 28, 2026, at the 2026 ASAP Summit NYC, the award recognized the alliance for its consistent application of alliance management practices and sustained performance over more than 14 years of contract manufacturing collaboration.
The Enduring Alliance category recognized mature partnerships that demonstrate sustained performance and consistent use of alliance management practices over time.
“This alliance stood out for its consistent application of alliance management practices over time, including structured governance and joint planning that supported measurable, sustained outcomes,” said Nicole Boston, CAE, CA-AM, President and CEO of ASAP. “MSD Turkiye and Bilim show what a long-term manufacturing alliance can achieve with both partners remain disciplined about governance and committed to continuous improvement.”
Over more than 14 years, the MSD Turkiye and Bilim Pharmaceuticals alliance has focused on formulation and packaging as part of Bilim’s contract manufacturing support for MSD Turkiye’s diabetes portfolio. The partners managed the work through structured joint governance, including regular meetings, clear decision frameworks, and multi-year roadmaps to align investment and capacity planning. Pre-approved contingency plans, cross-functional knowledge transfer, and shared performance metrics supported supply continuity while responding to regulatory changes, including new compliance requirements for impurities. In 2025, the alliance expanded production capacity by two-fold for in-scope formulation and packaging activities. EU-GMP accredited operations helped broaden access to medicines.
