As most alliance professionals know, at least half the battle of alliance management is internal: getting and maintaining organizational alignment and continually educating key stakeholders across the organization on the strategic vision of the alliance management group and how it's adding value.
We'll dive into such questions as:
- How do you identify the key alliance stakeholders within your organization and get their buy-in so they're "on the team"?
- How do you maintain organizational alignment around an alliance—especially when market conditions change, strategic direction shifts, personnel come and go, or there are changes in the partner organization that affect the alliance?
- What have you found to be the best ways to keep senior stakeholders not only informed about specific alliances but also apprised of how the alliance management group is bringing value to the table?
