What Do I Receive When I Become Certified?
A certificate will be issued upon successfully passing the CA-AM exam.
What Happens If My Membership Expires?
Certification is tied to membership status. If your membership expires, your certification is no longer valid. It is recommended that you maintain information on when your ASAP membership and certification expire. ASAP staff is available to help you with this information, as well. Please contact Lori Gold, manager of membership services at ASAP, at +1-781-684-9588, to check your membership status.
What Happens If I Don't Pass My Certification Exam?
Individuals have four attempts to rewrite the CA-AM exam to achieve a passing score. If needed, a candidate may purchase a four-week extension to all resources included in the CA-AM prep bundles for $24 within one year.
For the CSAP exam, individuals have three attempts within one calendar year. There is a 30-day waiting period between each attempt. The CSAP exam retake fee is $150 per retake.
What Policies Govern the Use of Certification Logos?
The CA-AM and CSAP logos are service marks of ASAP. ASAP grants valid certified individuals with permission to use the CA-AM or CSAP logo to promote their certification. If an individual's membership expires, then the license to use these logos is revoked.
What Certification Information Is Shared with Others?
ASAP only indicates if an individual is certified. An individual's score is not public information and will not be shared with anyone. ASAP maintains a list of CA-AM– and CSAP-certified individuals.
How Long Is My Certification Good For?
Each certification—CA-AM and CSAP—is good for three years. An individual must be an active member of ASAP in order to both achieve and retain their designation. If membership lapses, certification will also be invalid.
How Do I Find Out My Score?
Individuals receive their score upon completion of their exam. Scores for both the CA-AM and CSAP exam will be returned electronically within a few minutes of hitting the submit button.
Can I Find Out What Questions I Got Right or Wrong?
The scoresheet provided will include an overview of how an individual performed within categories. However, to maintain the integrity of the exam, individuals will not be provided with the answers.
If your question has not been answered, please contact Lori Gold, +1-781-684-9588.
Certified pros know how to marry strategy and day-to-day implementation. They can answer the questions, “Why did we get into this arrangement? What value are we trying to create? What assumptions are we making? How will we manage risk?” said Christine Carberry, CSAP, formerly of Keryx Pharmaceuticals, FORUM Pharmaceuticals, and Biogen Idec.
